Launch of South Bristol Hospital e-survey

Labour MP urges constituents to log on and have their say

Dawn Primarolo is harnessing modern technology in her quest to secure a hospital for South Bristol.

Working with, the Labour MP launched an e-survey to help her constituents have a say over the proposed improvement to health services in the area.

Speaking today, Dawn said:

"Last summer, more than 3000 people showed their support for a South Bristol Hospital by signing my petition. Today, I am asking my constituents to help me keep up the pressure by completing my survey - either online or by phoning my office on 0117 909 0063".

"I'm saying to local residents: whatever your views, I want to hear from you! You might just want to tell me the hospital should be built without delay. Or you might have comments on the services that should be provided, or its location. Whatever you want to say, your responses will help me make sure the hospital really meets South Bristol's needs".

The e-survey is the latest part of Dawn Primarolo's campaign for a South Bristol Hospital, and follows closely from the successful consultation meeting, organised by the Primary Care trust, that she chaired at the Southville Centre. Ms Primarolo has developed the e-survey in conjunction with - the political website that houses more than 390 MP websites.
