Change in Council Administration

Commenting on the decision of Bristol City Council’s Cabinet’s decision to resign, Dawn Primarolo said:

“The minority Labour Council can be very proud of what is has achieved in the last two years, under very difficult circumstances.  They proposed a budget which will offer real help to people during the recession.

The Labour Group is now tasked with providing constructive opposition to the new Liberal Democrat administration.  I will join them in that task, as we look to ensure that the improvements made to our city over the last two years are not squandered.”
