Dawn Gets Hospital Building Work Underway

Residents in Bristol will soon benefit from a brand new hospital, thanks to the Labour Government. 

Local MP Dawn Primarolo was on hand to cut the first turf at the site on Hengrove Park.  Builders on site at the £43 million facility will be working flat out to ensure that the hospital can open by the end of 2011. 

Commenting on this hugely important step, Dawn said: “This hospital simply would not have happened without thousands of local people backing my campaign.  We have waited for too long for a hospital in our part of the city.  Now, thanks to the hard work of so many people it is being built.“
