Dawn visits St Peter’s Primary School

Dawn Primarolo, Labour MP for Bristol South, visited St Peter’s CoE Primary School in Bishopsworth recently to meet pupils who are members of the School Council.  The children had recently visited London, including a trip to the Houses of Parliament, and they had lots of questions for Dawn.  During her visit Dawn was quizzed on topics ranging from her first job, the changes she has witnessed in south Bristol over the years and what she thinks children should learn in school.
After the visit Dawn said:

“It was wonderful to meet the children at St Peter’s Primary School today.  The pupils are clearly very interested in how our democracy works and have very inquisitive minds.  I was happy to answer their questions and hope I was able to further their understanding of politics in the UK.”
