Dawn was found to have ‘no issues’ with her expenses following an exhaustive inquiry of all MPs claims.  As well as always claiming both within the letter and the spirit of the rules, Dawn has always sought to be open and honest about all of her claims.  She was one of the first MPs to publish details of her claims on her website.  

When MPs expenses were originally published, Parliamentary authorities removed, or ‘redacted’, significant amounts of detail.  This was done to protect the personal details and payment details of MPs staff but, in order to show she had nothing to hide, Dawn gave full access to all of her unredacted claims to two Evening Post journalists.  Neither found any issues.
