A busy recess week for Dawn continued
on Thursday as she called in on the Knowle West Health
Association (KWHA). KWHA runs a range of projects and clinics
to promote good health in the community.
Commenting, Dawn said:
"This is a really important project for a number of reasons.
It provides a really relaxed, non-medical approach to people.
Lots of the services are taken out to people in the community
whether it's in schools or even at the bingo. It's about
the health service reaching out to the community rather than
waiting for people to be ill. It's great, and we should be
doing more of it."
Earlier in the week, Dawn met with Hartcliffe and Withywood
Ventures and Pukka Herbs at her regular surgery. On
Wednesday, Dawn spoke with representatives of the South
Bristol GPs Consortium about plans for the South Bristol
Hospital.
