Mansell 4 Mayor - Help get Labour's candidate elected for Bristol and the South West

“My priorities are more homes, better transport and secure jobs for the people of the West of England. I will bring my long standing skills of negotiation, consultation and probity to make this new partnership work.” Lesley Mansell

Lesley Mansell is the Labour Party candidate for the West of England Metro Mayor election, taking place on 4th May. Labour campaigners will be working tirelessly in March and April to help Lesley win this position. Check our events page to get involved.

This new regional mayor will oversee a combined umbrella authority over Bristol, South Gloucestershire and Bath & North East Somerset (BANES) with new powers and more than £1 billion of investment promised for transport, housing and skills.

We need a Labour Metro Mayor to work with Marvin Rees and Bristol’s Labour-led council to fix some of the biggest problems in our city. After huge Tory cuts, our local services rely on a joined up approach to funding public services, housing, jobs and opportunities that will tackle inequality in the city and the region head on.

This is what Lesley is pledging to do.

So come out and campaign in South Bristol to get Lesley Mansell elected!
