Working hard all year round for South Bristol
Dawn has welcomed the launch of a new guide designed to help people through the economic slowdown. Real Help Now outlines the support that Labour have put in place to help people and businesses in these difficult times.
Commenting, Dawn said:
“The Government has put in place a range of measures to help people stay in their homes, keep their jobs, and to help businesses ride out the financial storm. This helpful guide, which will be updated as new initiatives are introduced, lets everyone know where do seek help if things do go wrong. Doing nothing is simply not an option, and it’s vital that people know what support is out there for them. I hope that residents in Bristol South will find this guide useful but, should you have any queries, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.”
The Government has also launched Real Help for Communities - a £42.5 million recession action plan to help charities, voluntary organisations and social enterprises during these challenging times.
